Valentine Themed Plastic Baggy Painting
Plastic bag painting is a fun way for adults to introduce their children to the world of art, without worrying about the mess that traditional paint can make. Even better, some of the tools you will need are already sitting around your house most likely. With a bit of imagination and creativity, you’ll be able to create a beautiful piece of artwork that can be hung alongside your more traditional works. Your kids will love it!
Homemade Slime
Homemade slime is a fun sensory art activity that the whole family can enjoy. Plus, you can custom-fit it to your child’s distinct sensory needs. Each sensory activity can provide a wide range of learning opportunities for kids (and adults!) so don’t be afraid to have fun with different variations or add in materials from your crafting stash and let your imagination run wild! Sand Sensory Bin
The best sensory bins are themed. Be sure to choose a good container and incorporate a valentines day theme with the shape or color of the container. Dye the sand a pink or red color and add roses, hearts, and toys! Sensory bins are perfect to encourage critical thinking, foster imagination, and fine motor skills, and provide hours of play/learning.
It’s important to remember that different kids have different needs. The goal is to create educational activities and toys that engage and challenge them, while still withstanding the wear and tear of day-to-day life. To make this happen, you will have to put time, thought, and love into developing and implementing your activity programs. That said, you don’t have to do this on your own. Arion Care offers home and center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We offer various locations across Arizona.
