Join us for a day of walking, fun, and community in support of autism awareness!

Join us on October 27th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Tempe Beach Park for the YES Day Walk for Autism, proudly sponsored by Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC). This community-centered event kicks off with a family-friendly, 1-mile walk along the beautiful canal under the Mill Ave Bridge. The walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. with participants encouraged to stroll at their own pace. Once you’ve crossed the finish line, the festivities continue with live entertainment from local groups, including THE BE KIND CREW and The Boot Scootin’ Babes, as well as engaging performances throughout the morning.

In addition to the walk, attendees can visit the resource fair to connect with providers from around Arizona, offering valuable insights and support for individuals with autism and their families. Kids will love the Sprouts Pumpkin Patch, carnival games, face painting, and arts and crafts. Need a break? Enjoy a quiet zone perfect for relaxation. Delicious eats from local food trucks and fun prizes round out this exciting event. Let’s walk, celebrate, and make a difference together!
